Loose Audio Jack
A customer sent us his PC with an issue regarding the audio jack. Over time, the jack became loose due to frequent insertion and removal, leading to connectivity issues with the audio input
Removing the Faulty Front I/O
We began by removing the defective front I/O
Replaced the Faulty I/O
After removing the faulty front I/O, we replaced it with a brand-new one to resolve the connectivity issues
Putting the Cover Back On
Once the new front I/O was installed, we carefully placed the cover back on, ensuring everything was properly secured
A Quick Brush Down
After installing the new front I/O, we gave the PC a little cleaning
Fixed, Tested, and Ready
After completing the installation, we did a quick test using a TRS (Tip-Ring-Sleeve) cable to check if the audio jack was still loose. Thankfully, the connection was stable, and there were no issues with it. The problem was fixed, and the PC is now ready to be sent back to the custom
