AT A GLANCE
Compact 1080p gaming
NVIDIA RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB + Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF
Fractal Design Ridge White
SGD $3,680
1080p gamer who wants a smaller and cleaner desk setup. The Fractal Design Ridge is only 11 cm wide and can stand vertically on the desk, making this build more suitable for someone who values a cleaner or more minimal workspace. It is still built around an RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB and Core Ultra 7 265KF, so the small size does not mean this is a basic office PC. If you have plenty of desk space and do not care about keeping the PC compact, a larger case may be the more straightforward option.
The price is not only about achieving 1080p gaming performance. Part of what you are paying for is fitting the system into a much smaller Mini-ITX format. This build uses a Mini-ITX motherboard, SFX power supply and low-profile CPU cooler so the components can fit inside the slim Fractal Design Ridge. Those choices are part of what makes this PC different from a normal mid-tower build.
So if your main priority is getting the most gaming performance for the lowest possible price, compact size may not be worth paying for. If you specifically want a smaller PC that takes up less desk space, the extra complexity of the ITX format becomes easier to justify.
The main trade-off is internal space. This completed build fits an RTX 5060 Ti, Mini-ITX motherboard, low-profile CPU cooler, SFX power supply and two case fans inside the Ridge, but there is much less room to work with than in a conventional tower.
That means component size matters more. Future graphics cards, coolers and other parts should be checked for physical clearance before buying them. If you like frequently changing components or want as much room as possible for future hardware, a larger case is easier. If keeping the PC physically small matters more, that is the trade-off you are making.
For someone doing everyday productivity and lighter work, it can cover both roles. The build uses a Core Ultra 7 265KF, 32 GB of DDR5 memory and an RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB alongside the gaming setup.
This build was positioned for 1080p gaming and light productivity work. If your main workload is heavier professional editing, rendering or another demanding application, it would make more sense to choose the parts around that workload rather than assume this gaming-focused configuration is the best fit.
