SilverStone RM32 3U Rackmount Server Chassis

SilverStone RM32 is a 3U rackmount chassis for GPU-focused workstations and computing servers. It supports SSI-EEB and E-ATX motherboards, includes a PCIe 5.0 x16 riser cable, and accommodates front 360mm radiators and compatible 2U CRPS redundant power supplies.

Who it suits

• Enterprise server builders can use SSI-EEB or E-ATX boards alongside the included PCIe 5.0 x16 riser cable.
• Workstation builders can choose SFX/SFX-L or compatible SilverStone 2U CRPS redundant power supplies according to their system requirements.
• Liquid-cooled builds benefit from front 360mm radiator support, three front 120mm fan mounting positions and configurable internal storage.
• Not suitable for hot-swap NAS systems or standard ATX power supplies. Consider RM31 when eight expansion slots are required.

Before you buy

• The RM32 supports SSI-EEB, SSI-CEB, E-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards. CPU cooler clearance is 110mm, or 86mm beneath the riser cable.
• SFX/SFX-L and compatible SilverStone 2U CRPS power supplies are supported. Maximum PSU depth is 250mm with the 3.5-inch drive cage installed; verify clearance if removed.
• A PCIe 5.0 x16 riser cable is included. The chassis has four expansion slots, compared with eight on the RM31.

What is the difference between RM32 and RM31?

Both RM32 and RM31 are 3U rackmount chassis measuring 438 × 132 × 488mm. The RM32 focuses on GPU compatibility with four expansion slots, wider graphics card clearance, and an included PCIe 5.0 x16 riser cable. The RM31 provides eight expansion slots and an additional SFX/SFX-L PSU position when the 3.5" drive cage is removed. Choose RM32 for GPU-focused workstations or RM31 for builds requiring more expansion slots.

Can I fit a full-length graphics card in the RM32?

The RM32 supports compatible graphics cards up to 360mm long using its included PCIe 5.0 x16 riser cable. Maximum card width is 177mm with an SFX-L PSU or 162mm with a compatible SilverStone 2U CRPS redundant PSU. Check GPU dimensions and cooling clearance before purchasing.

What PSU options does the RM32 support?

The RM32 supports SFX, SFX-L, or compatible SilverStone 2U CRPS redundant power supplies, with a maximum depth of 250mm when the 3.5" drive cage is installed. Removing the cage eliminates the specified depth restriction, but physical clearance must still be verified. Standard ATX power supplies are not supported.
