SilverStone RM52 5U Rackmount Server Chassis

SilverStone RM52 is a 5U rackmount chassis for GPU and AI servers with support for dual front 360mm radiators. It supports SSI-EEB motherboards, CPU coolers up to 181mm with the expansion card retainer or 192mm without, and graphics cards up to 512mm without front fans, radiators or the internal radiator bracket. Local Singapore warranty support through Mansa.

Who it suits

• If you water-cool both CPU and GPUs, the front fits two 360mm radiators, double the radiator room of the RM51.
• Long expansion cards up to 512mm fit without front fans, radiators or the internal radiator bracket, while dual 360mm radiators reduce clearance to 365mm.
• Home lab users can stand it upright or lay it flat, and add a second SFX PSU in place of the 3.5" drive cage.
• Not for shallow racks or storage servers. It is 560mm deep without the rear fan cage and has no hot-swap bays.

Before you buy

• Card length drops to 365mm with dual radiators installed (each radiator plus fans 53mm thick). SilverStone's manual has the full table.
• CPU cooler height is 181mm with the expansion card retainer installed, or 192mm without it.
• Primary PSU length is 160–190mm depending on configuration, with no stated limit after removing the 3.5" drive cage. Compatible 2U redundant PSUs require V3.0 or later.

What is the difference between the RM52 and RM51?

The RM52 supports two front 360mm radiators and graphics cards up to 512mm without front fans, radiators or the internal radiator bracket. With dual radiators installed, card clearance is 365mm under SilverStone's specified configuration. The RM52 measures 560mm deep without its rear fan cage.

The RM51 supports one front 360mm radiator and graphics cards up to 455mm without front fans or radiators. It measures 485mm deep without its rear fan cage and includes two 180mm front fans.

Does the RM52 come with rack rails?

No. SilverStone sells the matching RMS05-22 slide rails separately. The chassis has reserved mounting holes for them.
