Technical Questions
-
- ◄What is the main difference between ATX and Micro-ATX?
- ATX is a full-size motherboard form factor, while Micro-ATX is a smaller version of the ATX form factor.
ATX motherboards have more expansion slots and ports compared to MATX motherboards which are great for expandability. - ◄Will I need to install Windows and drivers myself?
- We will handle the essential software installation for you. This includes, your Windows operating system, the latest drivers for your hardware and the most updated version of the BIOS (motherboard software). All you need to do when you receive the PC is to plug in the power cord, your peripherals, hook up your monitor and you’re all set!
- ◄Will turning off my aircon cause my PC to overheat?
- You don't have to keep your aircon on. The computer's internal cooling system (fans and CPU cooler) can keep the computer adequately cooled.
- ◄Can I build my PC with some specific components that are not listed on your website?
- Of course you can, we are called a custom PC shop for that exact reason! Just let us know which components you want and we will do up a quotation for you. Dropping us a Whatsapp message will be most convenient and fastest way to get your quote!
Why choose an ATX(standard-size) PC?
Spoilt for choice.
The Widest Variety Available.
Our Standard ATX form factor PCs have the widest variety of computer cases to pick from.
Ranging from the most popular to dynamic designs - for performance and style.
Extreme Gaming or Productivity
Lag-free computing experience.
Select up to a RTX 4090 or the latest Ryzen 7900X processor!
Add up to 4 solid-state/hard disk drives, 10 Gbps LAN port and Blackmagic Design PCI Express Capture Card.
Maximum Airflow.
You don't have to turn on your aircon.
The ATX form factor PCs have great cooling out of the box - purely due to space for airflow.
On top of that, you have more space to mount larger additional fans and AIO radiators to achieve optimal temperatures when loads get intensive.
More Ports.
Utility Focused.
You get what you need and even more, such as extra PCIe slots, M.2 slots, I/O ports and SATA slots.
This means it's easier for you to access your peripherals (e.g headphones, webcam, stream deck, drawing pad) and the possibility of adding more storage drives.
Greater Expandability.
You can always expand and upgrade in the future.
For example, getting a build to fit your current budget now and upgrading to something better in the future.
For example, if you're using an RTX 3070 Ti on a MATX(mid-size) PC and would want to change to an RTX 4080 you wouldn't have to change your entire PC case and motherboard.
Want something not listed?
A specific case you're looking for perhaps?
Or a certain component like an AIO cooler?
Don't worry.
